Syndicate Two-Year Olds Secret Love (Real Desire ex Ouch La Fe Fe) (Filly see photo below) Both horses have returned to the stable for the next stage of their preparation. One of the syndicate members saw them fast work recently and reported as follows: They are both progressing very well, Benji (driven by Jordan) was first on the track over 2000m, coming home in 28 seconds for the last 400m in company with the galloping pacemaker (Dakota Kid, driven by Nicky). Then it was Fefe's turn (driven by Nicky), again in company with Dakota Kid (driven by our syndicate member Mac Robinson) over 2000m, coming home in 59 seconds and 29 seconds for the last 800m and 400m. Nicky is well pleased with them to date. She is going to qualify them for racing before Christmas, (date unknown, as it depends on when the club has qualifying trials), then it will be a couple of days off over Christmas and then see what racing might be lined up for them sometime in the New Year. There are still opportunities for people to become involved in these two horses and to find out more information on any level of investment please contact Nicky direct: 021 813 638 or (07) 827 6200 or Or Roger Weatherley on (09) 834 5270 or email Roger on mowemdown@xtra.co.nz
